When presented with the opportunity to create a new space in our library to encourage collaborative learning we knew that we wanted that space to be creative and flexible. It had to be a space where students could move the furniture around and create the learning environment that fit their immediate needs. We were impressed with the adaptability that Herman Miller Avive tables and Caper chairs provided. Samuels Group consultants helped us bring our vision into a practical plan. They understood that we had a limited budget but still wanted to create a space that had a “WOW” factor. The consultants provided a number of options that worked within our budget. They were extremely patient and helpful when we requested color or materials changes. Within minutes of moving our furniture into the newly created space students moved in too. They quickly realized that the tables and chairs could be moved into various configurations and every day they seemed to create a new floor plan for our Collaborative Learning Center.
